Hello Cyber Space!

My first blog sent out into cyber space- yippie. I have officially joined this world.... of which I am a mere member... who knows if it will become something else.

But I do want to say that it is nice to have a place out there to post some thoughts on what is going on right now... for starters my husband and I have started our own company! Despite the all the people who believe working with your spouse is a horrible idea- we have decided to have a go at it and make it work! So we - Chris and Jeanna as a newly married couple (09.19.09) and our new business; Murray Design Studio: A design firm focused on sustainable renovation and additions for the home. Murray Design Studio (MDS) will have it's own home here on our new baby bloggie- a tracking of our first project and the trials and tribulations of owning your own company. Plus a few other things that we are wading knee deep in....business wise, planet wise... people + interactions....results..being a wife, and friend and a designer/ aspiring career woman...and who knows but maybe even a mother. There is so much happening and processing all of it in an intelligent way is like digging through the clearance rack at Marshall's. Overwhelming and highly unlikely that you find something fabulous (on the other hand, the digging can be really fun and once and awhile you do uncover a treasure) So this is my attempt at articulation.

Wish me luck!
